Pastor Paul Alexander

Tammy and I have been extraordinarily blessed to serve at Faith since 1999. I was raised in Alaska, where my dad was a missionary bush pilot. Tammy was a farm girl from Ohio. Our paths crossed at Bible college, and we were married in 1986. We began married life serving at Faith Baptist Church in south Florida. I was an assistant to the pastor and taught in their school, eventually becoming the school principal. Tammy also taught school until our first son was born, followed by three more sons and two daughters

Eventually, we learned of a fledgling Baptist church in Enterprise, AL. On our first visit we immediately fell in love with the church and the community. The folks at Faith kindly invited us to come be their pastor, so we loaded a U-Haul truck and made Enterprise our new home.

Now that the children are grown up, Tammy enjoys cooking, sewing, visiting the elderly, overseeing our church’s child care ministries, but mostly spoiling the grandkids whenever she can. My ministry love is the study and teaching of God’s Word. Occasional relaxation consists of caring for our mini-farm, and exploring the few natural caves in our area.

What’s your story? We would love to get to know you over coffee or a meal, answer your questions, and see if God would have us partner together to continue reaching our community and world for Christ.
